LinkoCTS and LinkoFOG Improvements

Linko Data Systems, Inc. strives to be the best software solution for your Pretreatment and Fats, Oils and Grease program(s). We are continually updating the LinkoCTS and LinkoFOG products to be the best available! Below is a list of new improvements.

Version 12.0 Improvements

Nearly 100 bug fixes, enhancements and other improvements made as a result of the recommendations of our customers!

Performance Improvements

• Screens open faster for Sample Management and Sample Averages
• Sped up application opening, noticeable for organizations with a large number of concurrent users.

Events, Inspections, Disposals, Violations, Group and Queries

• Temporary Filters can be easily removed with the addition of a new remove filter button.
• Times are now preserved when using the Linko calendar to edit a date with a time.

Reports and Letters

• Support for multiple users creating a letter from the same Mail Merge template has been added.
• An Facility Note report is now available from the Facility and Industry Note Details screen.
• POTW personnel can now add their Title and Email to the software and have that show in reports and letters.

Results Management

• Commas can be used in Concentration Results, Monitoring Point Limits and Flow.
• Limits and Results can now be sorted on Sort Order making data entry match lab result sheets.

Sample Groups

• Added ability to filter and sort samples by Created By, Assigned To, Analyzed By, Internal Comment and Sample Linked Document.

Patching and Upgrading

• Enhancements to the Patching process corrects some patching issues and simplifies patch distribution.

LinkoPipe

• Import lab results reported in ng/L

Permit Writer

• Now allows you to choose the printer and number of copies to print.
• View permits by Renewal Date as well as Effective and Expiration Date.
• Advanced support for customized Limit and Monitoring Point table column names in Permits.

Sampling Assistant

• Monitoring Point and Frequency are now easily identified on the COC List Screen for all auto-generated COCs.
• Added support for the auto creation of COC Samples using the ‘Long Sample Name’ configuration.
• Added support for COC #s of 10,000 and above.

Surcharge Assistant

• Support for custom rounding on Average Concentration and Fee/Surcharge Amounts has been added.
• Support for adding custom criteria to limit which results are used in calculating surcharge has been added.

Remote Inspector

• Allow you to control which Events to sync.

Other Notables

• Elimination of the “2 minute logout” message.
• Other Changes in Hauled Waste, LinkoFOG, Pumpouts, Monitoring Point Limits and Compliance Assistant.

Remote Inspector

Enhancements to the software allow you to use your existing forms to perform inspections and enter that data once - all while in the field. You can capture signatures and pictures, print inspection forms and NOVs and access the entire list of Facilities as well as past inspection history. This enhancement is available for purchase as an add-on to your current software, see the Remote Inspector page for more details.

Compliance Assistant reports are now editable! Create your own custom Compliance Assistant user reports with Flexible Reporter.

Performance improvements continue with enhancements to Disposal Management and Chain of Custody Sample Tech screens.

Streamlined Sample and Result reporting and analysis with the addition of the Quick Filter date.

Version 10.4 Improvements

Improvements in Version 10 were derived from FOG and Pretreatment customer requests and user focused discussion groups. This customer-oriented approach to software development has made Linko the choice of an unmatched 25 national award winning IP programs and over 330 IP and FOG programs nationwide.

User Interface Redesign

The software has been given a face lift designed to significantly improve usability and take advantage of technology advancements.

Performance Improvements

Several of the most commonly used portions of the software have been made faster and easier to use. This includes the Compliance Assistant, Industry and Facility management and Pumpout management.

Database Technology Upgrade (MS Access Database users)

You spoke and we listened! This new technology is based on Microsoft SQL Express and provides significant stability and performance enhancements. No longer will you use the MS Access database, which can be prone to data corruption on wide area networks.

Windows 7 Compatible

Version 10 supports Windows XP, Vista and 7 as well as Office XP, 2003 and 2007. Take a look at our Lifecycle Support Policy.

MS Outlook Integration

Do you use Microsoft Outlook? Many of our customers do, so we developed Linko OutlookSync™, to move your Linko events to MS Outlook calendars. Updating event information in Outlook or Linko automatically updates the other system. This works great for visualizing workloads, sharing responsibilities and adjusting schedules. Permit Writer

Sampling Assistant

Chain of Custodies are now automatically generated based on parameter frequencies requirements. No longer do you need to manually generate your COC's and sampling schedule. Plus it will maintain that schedule automatically into the future even as limits and sampling requirements change. Sample scheduling and prep are now a breeze for any program. Sample Frequency Evaluation
